• Device and browser data: IP address, browser type, operating system, device type
• Usage data: pages visited, time spent on pages, referring URL, click behavior

• Sending promotional emails if you have opted in — you may opt out at any time

• Showing you relevant ads on Meta (Facebook/Instagram) based on your interactions with our website
• Sending transactional communications (order updates, policy changes)

SMS / Text Messaging

If you check the SMS consent box on one of our forms or at checkout, you agree to receive recurring automated marketing text messages from NYK (NYC Keepers LLC) at the mobile number you provided, including new products, promotions, and NYK Influencer Program updates.

• Consent is not a condition of purchase.
• Message frequency varies, up to 4 messages per month.
• Message and data rates may apply, according to your mobile carrier plan.
• To stop receiving messages, reply STOP to any message. You will receive one final message confirming you have been unsubscribed.

• Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

Who We Share Your Information With

We share your personal information only with the service providers and partners necessary to operate our business. We do not sell your data.

Payment Processors

When you make a purchase, your payment information is processed directly by our payment partners. NYC Keepers never stores full card numbers.

Shipping & Fulfillment

We share your name, address, and order details with shipping carriers (USPS, UPS, FedEx, or similar) to fulfill and deliver your order.

Email & SMS Service Provider

• Sender.net: sends our emails and text messages on our behalf. It only uses your information to deliver our messages and may not use it for its own purposes. See sender.net/privacy-policy.

Marketing Platforms

• Meta (Facebook/Instagram): We use Meta Pixel to measure ad performance and show relevant ads to users who have visited our site. Meta may collect device and behavior data. See Meta's Data Policy at facebook.com/policy. We never share your mobile number or SMS consent with Meta or any other advertising platform.

Website Platform

• WordPress / WooCommerce: our e-commerce platform processes order, account, and Influencer Program data

Analytics (Future)

We may implement Google Analytics in the future to analyze website traffic. If activated, we will update this policy and notify users accordingly.

Legal Requirements

We may disclose your information if required to do so by law, court order, or government authority, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of NYC Keepers, our customers, or others.

Data Retention

We retain your personal information for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes described in this policy, including:

• Order data: retained for a minimum of 7 years for accounting and tax compliance
• Account data: retained until you delete your account or request deletion
• Marketing data: retained until you unsubscribe or request removal
• SMS consent records: retained as proof of your consent for as long as required by law, even after you opt out
• Support communications: retained for 2 years after resolution

When data is no longer needed, we delete or anonymize it securely.

Cookies & Tracking Technologies

Our website uses cookies and similar tracking technologies to operate, improve, and personalize your experience.

Do Not Track (DNT)

Some browsers offer a "Do Not Track" (DNT) setting that sends a signal to websites requesting that your browsing activity not be tracked. Our website does not currently respond to DNT signals, as there is no industry standard for how such signals should be interpreted. We will update this policy if our practices change.

Applicants to the NYK Influencer Program who are between 13 and 17 years old may only participate with the permission of a parent or legal guardian.
