Sandra Milena Sepúlveda Lopera — born March 3, 1988, in Bello, Antioquia — spent two decades as the guardian of the Colombia women's national team. A triple World Cup participant, three-time Olympian, and the goalkeeper who lifted the Liga Femenina title with Deportivo Cali in 2021 — named Best Goalkeeper of the Tournament while wearing NYK gloves.

Sandra began her career representing Selección Antioquia, racking up national youth and senior titles. In 2008 she became a regular starter for Club Deportivo Formas Íntimas, kicking off more than a decade with the club that shaped her.
Wearing the Colombia Shirt
Runner-up at the 2010 Copa América in Ecuador. In 2011 she played her first FIFA World Cup in Germany, and in 2012 she made her Olympic debut in London. She was runner-up again at the 2014 Copa América, played the 2015 World Cup in Canada (Round of 16), and closed the cycle with her second Olympic Games in Rio 2016.
First Chapter in Israel
She tested herself in Israeli football with Maccabi Kiryat Gat, winning the 2015–16 Israeli Cup and the 2016–17 League and Cup double.
Back Home, Chasing the Title
Back in Colombia with Popular Junior FC (2018) and Deportivo Independiente Medellín (2019–2020), she built toward the moment that redefines her legacy. In 2021, with Deportivo Cali, she won the Colombian Women's League and was named Best Goalkeeper of the Tournament — the first time a title of this magnitude was lifted wearing NYK gloves.
Return to Israel
She went back to Israeli football with Hapoel Marmorek Rehovot, then Hapoel Ironi Petah Tikva, adding a second European chapter to her career before returning fully to the national team spotlight.
A Golden Farewell
Runner-up at the 2022 Copa América in Colombia, securing qualification for the 2023 World Cup and the 2024 Paris Olympics. She played her third FIFA World Cup in Australia and New Zealand, competed in the Gold Cup in the United States, and closed her Olympic journey with her third Games in Paris 2024, receiving the Olympic Diploma.

From guarding the net to shaping goalkeepers.
Retired from professional football, Sandra now teaches at Universidad de Antioquia and coaches at Club Femenino Formas Íntimas — the same club that shaped her as a young girl. Two decades later, she's still building the future of Colombian women's goalkeeping.
